Are you looking for your next big outdoor adventure in the Pacific Northwest? Are you motivated to set a big fitness goal in 2025? Perhaps you want to try a new outdoor sport and connect with likeminded enthusiasts? We have the solution for you in a new wellness partnership for the 2025 Cycling and Trail Running Season.
First Due Wellness is proud to announce that we have partnered with Mudslinger Events and Oregon Trail Runs, in our continued effort to enhance firefighter wellness. Family owned and operated, Mike and Andi Ripley are true professionals in the industry, organizing top-notch gravel cycling, mountain bike and trail running races in Oregon. Each event showcases the best of what the Pacific Northwest outdoor scene has to offer.
Mudslinger events is an avid supporter and is fully committed to the health and wellness of firefighters and first responders. “We are thrilled to partner with First Due Wellness as we continue to bring outdoor racing to the first response community,” says Mike Ripley. “From goal setting, to experiencing the adventure, to overcoming race challenges, these races and events closely parallel the work first responders do on a daily basis.”
In a generous partnership, Mudslinger Events is offering a special event discount for up to ten discounts for each event for first responders from Fire Departments across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. The discount applies to 15 Mudslinger and Oregon Trail Runs Events, offering challenges during the 2025 cycling and trail running season. “The overarching goal of this partnership is to make it easier for firefighters and emergency personnel to stay active, healthy and connected with peers,” says Ripley.
“Having completed both the High Cascades 100 and the Takelma Gravel Grinder, I can attest to the quality experience that the Ripley team at Mudslinger Events delivers to the riders,” says Brandon Paxton of First Due Wellness. “Each event has provided the perfect amount of challenge and support allowing a newer rider like me to be successful.”
